Leonardo DiCaprio reacts to protests in US

Leonardo DiCaprio, the prominent Hollywood actor and Oscar winner, has published a statement calling for action regarding the ongoing protests in the US.

The actor published a post on his social media page to fight against racism and injustice in his country.

He wrote “I commit to listen, learn and take action. I am dedicated to end the disenfranchisement of Black America that has been present for too long”.

DiCaprio has previously helped fighting coronavirus crisis and Amazon destruction.

The current protests in the US started in reaction to the murder of 46-year-old George Floyd by the country’s police.

Now Black Lives Matter movement is pushing with a greater force across the world with people protesting against racism and celebrities are joining them.
